Third person rule (he/she/it)
- Verbo + s: work → works, play → plays
- Verb in -s, -sh, -ch, -x, -o + es: watch → watches, go → goes
- Consonante + y → ies: study → studies, fly → flies
- Vocal + y → add -s: play → plays, enjoy → enjoys
Usos principales
- Habits and routines: I wake up at 7 a.m. every day.
- Verdades universales: The sun rises in the east.
- Gustos y preferencias: She likes chocolate.
- Estados permanentes: He lives in London.
💡 Tip: In negatives and questions, the verb returns to the base form: She doesn't work (no
doesn't works).
