Third person rule (he/she/it)

  • Verbo + s: work → works, play → plays
  • Verb in -s, -sh, -ch, -x, -o + es: watch → watches, go → goes
  • Consonante + y → ies: study → studies, fly → flies
  • Vocal + y → add -s: play → plays, enjoy → enjoys

Usos principales

  1. Habits and routines: I wake up at 7 a.m. every day.

  3. Gustos y preferencias: She likes chocolate.
  4. Estados permanentes: He lives in London.

💡 Tip: In negatives and questions, the verb returns to the base form: She doesn't work (no doesn't works).
