The "Yes, And..." Technique 🎭
From improvisation theater: accept what the other says ("Yes") and add something new ("and...").
A: "I just booked a trip to Japan!"
B: "That's amazing! And we should definitely try authentic sushi there!"
This technique keeps the conversation flowing and shows genuine interest.
💡 Tip: Don't look for the perfect answer. Look for a quick and appropriate response. Fluency is more important than grammatical perfection.
