Procedural Writing — From idea to text
Writing well in English is not a matter of translating from Spanish. It's about following a process that takes you from ideas to the final text.
The Writing Process

Paragraph Structure — The Hamburger Model 🍔
Every well-written paragraph has three parts:
- 🍞 Topic Sentence — The main idea of the paragraph. Goes to the beginning.
- 🥩 Supporting Details — 2-3 sentences that develop the idea with examples, reasons or evidence.
- 🍞 Concluding Sentence — Summary or closure that connects to the topic sentence.
Ejemplo
Exercise has many benefits for our body and mind. First, it improves cardiovascular health and reduces the risk of disease. Additionally, it reduces stress and anxiety, helping us feel more positive. In conclusion, regular exercise is essential for a healthy life.
Text Types
